Chair/Director School Resources

Below are links to resources developed for the College of Health Professions’ Chair/Director School.  The school is a year-long series of monthly seminars on what department chairs and program directors need to know.  Topics range from the responsibilities of chairs and directors; to organizing departments and programs for success; policies, procedures, regulations, and laws relevant to academic programs; matters relating to students and student success; essentials of leadership; budget planning and management; program accreditation; and “how-to’s” for a myriad of tasks required of academic leaders.  The resources are organized by major topic areas.
