Sonography Student, George Platt, Honored with National Scholarship
George Platt, senior student in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, has been chosen as a recipient of the 2017 Alan D. Waggoner Sonographer Student Scholarship Award funded by contributions to the ASE Foundation’s 2016 Annual Appeal. In addition to a monetary award to go towards tuition costs, George has also been invited to attend ASE’s 28th Annual Scientific Sessions happening June 02-06, 2017 in Baltimore, MD. There he will be officially recognized as a recipient of the award and a photo of him and other ASE award recipients will be featured in an upcoming issue of the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography (JASE) and on ASE’s website.
