When can I come for a tour of the campus?

Can I work while in the program?
Yes. You may accrue your clinical hours on the clock if you are employed by the institution that you are working with your preceptor. That is dependent upon your situation.

What hours will be in attendance at school while enrolled in this program?
We advise students that the schedule may be 8:00 to 5:00 on most week days, and to therefore, not schedule other activities.

What is the deadline for admission applications?
The application deadlines to start the following semesters is as follows:

  • Fall – June 1
  • Spring – November 1
  • Summer – March 1

Is it “hard” to get accepted into the program?
Admission to the program is competitive with the advantage going to those students with higher cumulative and prerequisite GPAs.

Should I send a college transcript for all college coursework?
Yes, it is a requirement for admission. The official transcript must be sent from the attended school to our admissions office (4310 W. Markham, SLOT 619, LR, AR 72205).

Is financial aid available?
Yes. Interested individuals may contact the Office of Student Financial Aid (telephone 501-686-5451) for information concerning available grants, loans and scholarships.

Do I have to have every prerequisite course completed before I can apply for admission?
All prerequisite course work must be completed by the time that classes begin in the starting semester.

If I am past the traditional college age, am I too old to enter this program?
Certainly not.
