The full-time and part-time tracks of the baccalaureate (B.S.) degree program in cardio-respiratory care at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), 1248 Harwood Road, Bedford, Texas 76021. Telephone: (817) 283-2835. Accreditation is required in order for graduates to be eligible to earn professional credentials (CRT and RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

The RRT-to-BS program, designed for practicing professionals who already have the RRT credential, does not require accreditation and is, therefore, not accredited by CoARC.
