I am delighted to introduce you to a rewarding career where you can put your undergraduate science courses to work! Surgical Technology is a “high tech” health care career, in which you help people, earn a great salary, and enjoy certain job placement. Our full-time Surgical Technology program is ten (10) months in length. Graduates earn an Associate of Science.
We invite you and your family to learn more about our profession and program by attending an open house at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Health Professions (UAMS-CHP) at Little Rock (see map), in building 4, room 141. You will learn more about the profession through hands-on demonstrations by our students. You will also learn about our educational program, including prerequisite course requirements and application procedures. It will be an excellent opportunity for you to explore the advantages of a career as a surgical technologist and to meet our students and faculty!
If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to call me at 501-526-4490. We look forward to meeting you!
