Respiratory Care Scholarship Application

We receive many scholarship applications for a limited number of available scholarships. It is very important that you carefully read scholarship criteria and follow directions so your application will not be disqualified for being incomplete.

Before proceeding with the scholarship application, you must agree to the following requirements:
- Documented Financial Need. All students applying for scholarships must also apply for financial aid if they have not done so already. Students are not required to accept the awarded loans, but a completed FAFSA is required to generate the aid report that officially documents the financial need of applicants. If a scholarship requires proof of documented financial need and that need is not documented on the Student Financial Services report by July 1st, your application will be considered incomplete. Please see the Student Financial Services website for more information.
- References. If the scholarship(s) for which you are applying require references, please make sure the individuals to be used as references have agreed to serve as your reference and are aware of the process and the deadline.
- Essay. When responding to essay questions, please use proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling. Acceptable essay lengths are between approximately 400 and 500 words. Essays that are too short or too long may not be considered. You will need to either write your essay in the space provided or construct in a Word document where you have the ability to check spelling, grammar, word count, etc., then copy and paste your completed essay in the space provided.
- Please note that this application must be filled out completely and submitted in one sitting. The application does not allow you to stop and come back to resume your progress.
The scholarship application process closes at 11:59 pm Central time on June 2, 2024. Incomplete application submissions will not be considered. Letters notifying scholarship applicants of the status of their application will be mailed in August.
