Patient Care Conferences

Patient care conferences are scheduled monthly. The resident will thoroughly prepare a case and present to the faculty and residents.

Journal Club

A Journal Club session will be held monthly.  Residents will select a current article from peer-reviewed literature and obtain the program director’s approval at least one week before his/her presentation. The program director and/or faculty serve as resources for suggestions and critical review. The residents will rotate as the “lead reviewer”.

In this forum, critical review skills will be developed throughout the program and residents’ performance will be formally evaluated.
