CPT Coding

The complete CPT Coding CE course syllabus is on the “GoSignMeUp” webpage. Here is an excerpt:

Course Structure:  Consists of 10 Learning Modules of instruction.  Completing the course (and passing each quiz with a score of 80% or higher) will reward the student with 20 contact hours.  Lecture presentation will be approximately two-hour sessions, which are recorded.  Sessions include but are not limited to a formal lecture, handouts, textbook exercise assignments, and an open book quiz after each lesson.  The student will have up to three attempts to complete the quiz with the required minimum score of 80% before moving forward to the next Learning Module.

Please note:  This course does not qualify for college credit.  It is a skills development program.  Completing any coding course is not a guarantee of employment or of passing a credentialing exam.  Students are encouraged to further their coding knowledge, skills base, coding speed, and accuracy through further self-study, “mock” exam practicing, etc. prior to attempting to sit for any credentialing exam.  This coding course in and of itself, will not qualify a student to pass a credentialing exam.
