Funding Proposal Submission Portal

To help streamline the proposal submission process in the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs, we are implementing a funding proposal submission portal for the research community at UAMS. Click the button below to visit the portal.

Benefits of the portal:

  • Single repository for first contact from PIs
  • Simplified, accessible platform for all proposal-related information
  • Standardization of information requested from all PIs
  • Tracking system for receipt of first contact
  • Reduced communication delays

How the portal process will work:

  • PI will enter proposal information into the portal at least 30 to 45 days prior to the sponsor deadline
  • Team member from Research & Sponsored Programs will receive a notification from the portal
  • Team member from Research & Sponsored Programs will assign the proposal to the appropriate person to prepare the proposal
  • Within 2 business days, a team member will provide the PI with a project-specific timeline and PI questionnaire
  • Research & Sponsored Programs team member will then begin the Muse entry and formal proposal collaboration with the PI
  • The proposal timeline must be followed as very few timeline extension requests will be approved

If you have any questions about the process, please reach out to Andi Ham (acham@uams.edu) or Daniel E. Voth (dvoth@uams.edu).
