Policy
Students who violate any state and/or federal criminal law while enrolled in a College of Health Profession’s program may be subject to program dismissal. Additionally, a student may be removed from a program on an emergency basis prior to conviction if it is determined that there is an immediate threat or the safety of another student or individual could arise from the student’s continued participation in the academic program. Refer to UAMS Policy 2.2.14 Student Code of Conduct for procedures to follow when a student has violated a law and/or to request the emergency removal of a student.
