Background
Dr. Christopher Walter earned both his undergraduate and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Central Arkansas. He later completed his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Utah, where his training focused on motor learning. His research emphasized understanding the underlying neural and behavioral mechanisms that support motor skill acquisition and developing evidence-based strategies to maximize motor learning in clinical populations.
Certifications & Other Specialties
APTA Board-Certified Clinical Instructor and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. In 2018, he was named a Fellow of the Arkansas Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, a federally funded initiative through the Health Resources and Services Administration focused on improving care for older adults.
