Aaron Woodall is a native of the central Arkansas area. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. He then completed his physician assistant education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he graduated in 2020. As a student, Aaron developed a passion for professional advocacy and became involved with the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants and was awarded the Broad Spectrum Award by the UAMS program.
Aaron began his career in family medicine where he has four years of experience treating underserved populations at a federally qualified health center in central Arkansas, where he has trained students as a clinical preceptor. He has also remained active with ARAPA where he has served as legislative committee chair and most recently as president. In this position he has helped to advocate for physician assistants in Arkansas through legislative action, create scholarship opportunities for physicial assistant students in Arkansas, and mentorship programs to inspire and connect future physician assistants. Aaron joined the UAMS Department of Physician Assistant Studies faculty in December 2024 and is excited to help mold the future of the PA profession. In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his partner and going to the latest concert, musical or film.
