Fall 2023 Application Reopened!

Are you interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in Audiology? We are excited to announce that the Audiology Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is reopening applications for its Fall 2023 cohort.

This is a great opportunity to receive a high-quality education in Audiology. Our program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience with a low student-to-faculty ratio and varied clinical experiences.

One undergraduate class in each of the following areas is required:

  • Mathematics (College Algebra or higher)*
  • Biological science (Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology, Human Genetics)*
  • Physical science (Physics, Chemistry, or Acoustics)*
  • Behavioral sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Education)*
  • Statistics (Research methods will not fulfill this requirement. Statistics will also satisfy Mathematics.)*
  • Phonetics (or equivalent)**
  • Language Acquisition (or equivalent)**

* Can be taken before or during the program, but must be completed before graduation.

** Must be completed before or during the first year of study in the program.
