Curriculum Overview
The Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition Program’s fast track program is designed to be completed in two years.
The program curriculum requires a total of 30 graduate-level semester credit hours for completion.
This track of the program has a non-thesis option only.
This coursework represents 18 semester credit hours of core courses and 12 semester credit hours of elective courses.
A specific degree plan will be prepared for each student.

Course Completion Requirements
Students must earn a B or better in all courses within the program to continue to the next semester. Students must also keep a minimum of a 3.0 grade-point average in the program to remain in good standing.
Interprofessional Education
All students in the UAMS College of Health Professions must complete all Interprofessional Education activities.
Program Completion Requirements
Students must meet the following requirements to complete the Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition Program.
- Completion of all courses in the program with a B or better in each and an overall program grade-point average of at least a 3.0.
- Completion of all Interprofessional Education requirements.
- Successfully complete a written comprehensive examination.
- Successfully complete a final research paper.
- Successfully complete an oral defense of their research.
