Curriculum for the Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Degree Advancement Program

Curriculum Overview

The Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Degree Advancement Program is self-paced. It consists of 25 to 40 semester credit hours of required degree advancement program coursework — depending on the student’s previous education.

Students with an Associate of Science in medical radiography from UAMS are required to successfully complete 25 semester credit hours in the degree advancement program.

Students with an Associate of Science in medical radiography or an Associate of Applied Science in radiologic technology from a different accredited college or university are required to successfully complete 30 to 40 semester credit hours in the degree advancement program.

1 This course has a prerequisite course that must be taken first. RISP 41753 must be taken before RISP 42763. RISP 41773 must be taken before RISP 42783. RISP 41953 must be taken before RISP 42963.

Course Completion Requirements

All program courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher for progression to the next semester and for graduation.

Interprofessional Education

All students in the UAMS College of Health Professions must complete all Interprofessional Education activities.

Program Completion Requirements

Students must meet the following requirements to complete the Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Degree Advancement Program.

  • Pass all required courses in the program with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
  • Complete Interprofessional Education requirements.
