Degree Programs in the Department of Imaging and Radiation Sciences

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is a full-time program with a cohort of 19 to 20 students beginning each fall semester. The program prepares students to enter the workforce as competent, compassionate sonographers skilled at utilizing high-frequency ultrasound waves to produce diagnostic images of internal organs and structures throughout the body.

Nuclear Medicine Imaging Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Imaging Sciences Program is a 12-month program that offers a bachelor of science degree. Online classes and clinical experiences are designed to give students the knowledge, experience and skills needed to perform a wide variety of imaging procedures. Graduates will be able to function as a competent nuclear medicine technologist in hospital, cardiac and oncology imaging centers.

Radiologic Imaging Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program prepares students for an exciting career in medical imaging. Through didactic and clinical experiences, students will gain knowledge and skills that will enable them to become competent radiologic technologists. Students can further their expertise in a specialty modality such as computed tomography, MRI, mammography, or cardiac- or vascular-interventional radiography.
