What is the time commitment and length of the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program?
Students should be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the on-campus program. The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program is six contiguous semesters.
Can I work while in the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program?
In the Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Degree Advancement Program, the student is encouraged to work as a radiographer, as all courses are offered online.
It is not recommended that students in the On-Campus Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program work if at all possible.
Is an associate degree required to be admitted to the On-Campus Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program?
A degree is not required to be admitted to the On-Campus Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program. The prerequisite requirements for admission consideration consist of 35 credit hours of basic college coursework. Please see the Admissions Requirements page for more details.
When does the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program begin?
A new cohort begins the On-Campus Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program each August.
Students can start the Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Degree Advancement Program in January, May or August.
Do all prerequisite courses have to be completed to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program?
Students may apply to the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences Program while still completing prerequisite courses. Students can begin the program with up to six credit hours not completed, but both anatomy and physiology courses plus college algebra must be completed. However, for increased success, we recommend that all prerequisite coursework be completed by the program’s start each August.
