About the Speakers
Stacie M. Jones, M.D.

Stacie M. Jones, M.D. is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology, and currently serves as Director of the Arkansas Children’s Food Allergy Program and Associate Program Director for the UAMS Allergy/Immunology Fellowship Program. Dr. Jones is the principal investigator at Arkansas Children’s Research Institute for the both the NIH-funded Consortium for Food Allergy Research and Immune Tolerance Network trials and is involved in multiple food allergy therapeutic studies through a collaborative research network.
Dieu Doan, M.D.

Dieu T. Doan, M.D., is a third year Fellow in Allergy and Immunology at UAMS and ACH. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology and plans to begin her career as a faculty member in Allergy/Immunology in July 2025. Dr. Doan’s research interests are focused on food allergy and nutrition, work that she is currently investigating as the recipient of the ACRI/ABI Post-Graduate Research Award and as co-investigator on the USDA-funded program project, Nutritional Programming of Health.

Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
This activity will also award credit for athletic training (BOC CEU), dietetics (CDR CPEU), and PAs (AAPA) if the requirements necessary for credit are met.
AMA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ACPE Credit Designation Statement
These knowledge based activities will provide pharmacists up to 1.0 contact hours or 1.0 CEU. CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion.
ANCC Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 ANCC contact hours. Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.
AAPA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
CDR Credit Designation Statement
This activity is designated for 1.0 CDR CPEUs. Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (One IPCE credit = one CPEU). If the activity is dietetics-related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours. RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Log. Sphere and Competency selection is at the learner’s discretion.
BOC Credit Designation Statement

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (BOC AP#: 0000298) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of 1.0 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.
