Student Spotlight Class of 2024
Meet Maggie Boles, a member of the Class of 2024. She is a “Texas girl” but loves getting to explore Arkansas through road-tripping and hiking with her husband. She enjoys spending her free time with her spunky border collie, Lady, and enjoys baking for her classmates’ birthdays (which is also enjoyed and appreciated by all of her classmates!)
In 2020, Maggie became a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy, enjoying providing hands-on pain relief for patients and watching them return to the activities they loved. After seeking lots of advice and spending much time in prayer, finally decided to pursue becoming a PA.
While in school, Maggie hopes to shed light on the benefits of alternatives to medication. She strongly believes that lifestyle and mindset changes can improve one’s health and overall wellness. She would like to broaden volunteering and awareness of different patient populations, such as the benefits of boxing in patients with Parkinson’s Disease (an activity provided at StraightRight Boxing here in Little Rock.)
The Class of 2024 transitions from the Didactic phase to Clinical Rotations at the end of June. Maggie will keep an open mind throughout the clinical year but is especially excited for her rotations in orthopedics and women’s health and is hopeful for an elective rotation in dermatology.
