About the Program
The Department of Dietetics and Nutrition in the College of Health Professions of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) offers graduate study leading to a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition – Fast Track through the UAMS Graduate School. The program is designed to prepare registered dietitians/ registered dietitian nutritionists to practice as advanced level practitioners.
This Track is designated for students who have completed or are concurrently enrolled in an ACEND Dietetic Internship (DI) program housed in a non-academic setting (ex. Private hospitals or within a food service company).
- The program length is two years (full-time) with 30 credit hours to complete the MSCN – Fast Track degree
- 100% online coursework and in-state tuition for all applicants
- The MSCN – Fast Track has a non-thesis option only
- Application deadlines
- For Fall Admission – Last Friday in July
- For Spring Admission – First Friday in December
Students pursuing the Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition-Fast Track are considered to be students in the UAMS Graduate School who are taking courses offered by the faculty of the College of Health Professions.
